Tide Navigation and Controls

Understand how to navigate in Tide and use common controls

This article covers some useful guidance in terms of how to navigate around, and use Tide.

Overall Navigation

From all screens in Tide you can access the top menu bar. The different icons take you to different areas within Tide. On the far right you can access your User profile‍ and settings. The information icon to the left of that will take you to the Tide Knowledge-base.

The below video provides an overview of how to navigate around Tide.

Grids in Tide

All grids in Tide have sorting, which you can activate by clicking on the header.

Most columns also have multi-select filters. As seen in the below screenshot, select the grey filter, and you can then select the options you wish to filter on. You can type in the search bar to filter the options before you make your selections.

Within a single user session, all filters applied within certain grids are retained by Tide, if you leave that area of Tide and then revisit, the previously selected filters will still be active. Filters are retained in the following grids in Tide:

-      Welcome Screen

-      Contract (from top menu)

-      Questionnaire (from top menu via Admin)

-      Bordereaux (from top menu and within Contracts)

-      Rules (from top menu and within Contracts)

-      Tasks (from top menu and within Contracts)

Filters can be removed by selecting the refresh button in the bottom right of the grid.

All grids have paging options to jump to a specific page of the data currently returned in the grid.

You can select to return a different number of records per page, and see the total number of records returned in the bottom right of grids.

Edit General Screens

When you are in a general screen (not a grid or table), then to edit the screen (or sometimes to take other actions), select the 3 ellipses, as highlighted in the below screenshot.

View Knowledge-base Articles in Tide

When you are using Tide, you will see question mark icons in each screen - see highlighted in below screenshot. When you click on a question mark icon, a window will open displaying an article from the Knowledge-base relevant to the screen.
