Zero Records

Understand why a Bordereau may contain zero records

After processing you may have zero records in your Bordereau. You will see that there are zero records in the Key Details tab in the Bordereau Summary Screen‍, a message confirming this will appear at the bottom of the screen, and you will not be able to select Submit Records for Assignment.

T‍here are a variety of reasons that there are zero records.

Discarded All Records

In the Errors & Warnings tab you can select to discard records. Selecting to discard records associated with one or many errors may result in all records in a Bordereau being discarded. If you select the Errors and Warnings tab you can see the errors you've selected to discard and the number of records associated with each. If appropriate, you can select to restore these errors.

No Updates in Bordereau with no Transaction Type

If you do not provide a Transaction Type in a Bordereau, then Tide has to derive the Transaction Type by comparing risks reported in the Bordereau with those previously reported. Only if there are new risks, or updates to previously reported risks, are records imported for processing. Therefore, if there is no Transaction Type in the Bordereau and there are no new or updated risks, then Tide will not import all of the records in the Bordereau, and there will be zero records.
