The Assignment role in Tide is assigned in Reporting Channels, and is responsible for the Assignment activities of all Bordereaux associated with the Reporting Channel. This involves the Assignment‍ of Sections and Risk Codes for all records.

The Assignment role in Tide is responsible for the Bordereaux Assignment‍ of the Risk, Premium, or Claims Bordereaux.

When a Bordereau reaches a status of For Assignment then Assignment Role users can select the Bordereau and complete the assignment steps. 

At this stage, users can also view all Bordereau data in the relevant (Risk, Premium, or Claim) Contract Data screen.
