Risk, Premium and Claim Data-sets

Understand the different Data-sets in Tide and how they are used

The Data-sets in Tide contain all of the fields that data submissions can be translated to. For example, if there is a Bordereau field called 'G.P.', then it can be translated to the Risk Data-set field called Gross Premium. There are Data-sets for Risk, Premium, and Claims.

Bordereau Types

There are four Bordereau Types for data processing: Risk, Premium, Risk/Premium and Claims. Risk, Premium, and Claims Bordereau Types process data against the relevant Risk, Premium, and Claim Datasets, using a Schema

A Risk/Premium Bordereau Type processes the data against a Risk Schema where specific fields are defined as also relating to Premium. Such Bordereaux are processed as a Risk Bordereaux, and once Approved, entries are also made in the Premium Data-set.

Data-set fields

New Data-set fields are added by Tide System Administrators to ensure fields are created consistently and with no duplicates. A collection of Data-set fields are then brought together in a Schema, for example, US Property or UK Property. Each Bordereau Questionnaire‍ is then associated with one Schema. This ensures that when you are Transforming a Bordereau using a‍ Bordereau Questionnaire, that you are only being asked questions relating to the type of Bordereau you are submitting.

The table below sets out the different information fields captured against each Data-set field.
