Submission is the first stage in data processing in Tide. The submission of Bordereaux files can be completed by any participant on the Contract (with the exception of TPAs in relation to Risk or Premium Bordereaux). The Contract you choose to submit Bordereaux to must be in either Signed or Cancelled status.
If you are not the Transformation Role, of the Bordereau Type being submitted, in the relevant Contract, then you will be simply submitting the original file.
If you are performing the Transformation Role, then you will also select the relevant Bordereau Questionnaire during submission, which will then be used as the first part of the Transformation process.
You can submit Bordereaux either from outside or within a Contract. To submit from outside of a Contract, you can select the Submit Bordereaux button from the home screen or within the Bordereaux screen (accessed from the top menu).
During the early stages of Transformation, Tide identifies the Contract(s) that are contained within the Bordereaux, and from that point onward, the Bordereau is only visible in the relevant Contract(s) within the Contract Folder. Importantly, until the Contract(s) are identified, the Bordereau and original Bordereau file (unless Restrict Bordereaux Access is switched on) are visible and accessible within all Contracts of the Contract Folder.
