Contract Activity Roles

Understand the different Activity Roles within a Contract in Tide, and the associated permissions

Contract Activity Roles are set within the Roles tab in Contract. Each of these roles can be taken by a different Company and Division. The Companies Overview article provides details on the Company / Division structure.

When a Company and Division is assigned to an Activity Role within a Contract, then all Company Admin and Standard Users of that Company and Division inherit the permissions of that Activity Role.

The below table sets out the different permissions associated within each role, as well as a link to an article on each role.

Activity Role Permissions
Contract Administrator Users of this Company - Division have the permissions necessary to edit all aspects of the Contract, including contractual details, Reporting Channels, and‍ assigning Company - Divisions to Activity Roles. Visit the Contract Administrator Role article for ‍more information. 
Transformation There are three Transformation Activity Roles, one for Risk, Premium, and Claim Bordereau Types. Users of this Company - Division have the permissions necessary to complete all aspects of the Transformation step in the data process, including translation of data using a Bordereau Questionnaire, and resolving data issues identified during processing. Assignment There are three Assignment Activity Roles, one for Risk, Premium, and Claim Bordereau Types. Users of this Company - Division have the permissions necessary to define the rules for the assignment of Sections and Risk Codes to records. Approval There are three Approval Activity Roles, one for Risk, Premium, and Claim Bordereau Types. Users of this Company - Division have the permissions necessary to approve Bordereau records, thereby making them available for use and reporting by other participants on the Contract.
